The ultimate way to enjoy the surrounding beauty of Martha's Vineyard - an afternoon or sunset sail onboard the Black Dog Tall Ships. Scheduled regularly throughout the season, The Black Dog Tall Ship ALABAMA sets sail from the Black Dog wharf on three-hour long cruises. Join us onboard for an unforgettable afternoon or evening sail, where as a passenger you join the crew in the raising of the sails, manning the wheel with the captain or simply sitting back, enjoying the gorgeous scenery as you sip a glass of wine. A sail onboard the ALABAMA will be the highlight of your stay on the island. This is a true sailing experience, taking advantage of the World's best cruising waters…

Perfect for couples, both small and large groups, and families!

ALABAMA does day sails from 1 - 4 p.m., and sunset sails from 5 - 8 p.m.

Chantey


Intruducing CHANTEY Day and Sunset Sails - a more intimate experience since the vessel only holds 6 passengers. CHANTEY sails for a two-hour cruise. CHANTEY is available for day sails in June from 1 - 3 p.m. and evening sails from 5 - 7 p.m. CHANTEY can also be chartered for $180 per hour with a 2 hour minimum.

Guests are encouraged to bring a packed lunch or dinner and beverages of your choice. We provide ice and drinking water. Reservations are recommended, and passengers should check in 1/2 hour prior to the sail, all trips are subject to availability. Our cancellation policy is below.

Day Sail Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made up to 48 hours prior to departure will be refunded in full minus a booking fee of 10%.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours will be charged full fare.
• Cancellation fees and booking fees will be charged to the credit card supplied to booking agent.

Note:
• Cancellations on day of charter due to weather conditions are solely at the discretion of the captain; in such an event, a full refund will be made to charterer.
